Can i choose colorless as a color
Being colorless means that the card, effect, or whatever it refers to has no mana color association to it. Artifacts and lands , for example, are colorless some artifacts such as Esperzoa are colored.
This can be either a deficiency or a bonus depending on how much either player's deck values colors. It is also impossible to choose "colorless" as a color, so that makes it harder to defend against when something could affect all colors. A nonland card does not have to be an artifact to be colorless. Artifacts and artifact creatures are defined by their card type , not by their casting cost. Devoid was introduced with Battle for Zendikar.
This ability makes an object colorless, even when it has colored mana in its casting cost. With Oath of the Gatewatch a new type of colorless mana was introduced. All spells, abilities, etc with the symbol in their casting cost have to be paid with colorless mana in contrast to generic mana , which can be paid with mana of any color. Example: A cost of can be paid with either , , , , or mana. As per Magic rules, only 4 of each nonbasic land can be in a deck at any one time.
Basic lands do not have this restriction. Blood Moon turns all non-basic lands into basic mountains, only able to tap for red mana, and can completely shut out some strategies and prevent them casting any spells for the rest of the likely short game.
Blood Moon does not affect cards in zones other than the battlefield. Dakmor Salvage works just fine in the graveyard. Blood Moon will make all nonbasic lands into Mountains.
What this means is that the land loses all other land types and abilities and gains the ability to tap for one red mana. They still keep other types and supertypes, so a legendary land will still be legendary, but the name of the card does not change.
Non-basic lands that are turned into Mountains with Blood Moon are still non-basic. Ravnica duals are nonbasic lands with basic land types. Yes to both. When a land gets a different basic land type, it loses its abilities, so it loses the ability that makes it indestructible. However, blood moon changes the subtype, not the supertype. A permanent is a card or token on the battlefield. A permanent remains on the battlefield indefinitely.
